FAKE GERMAN TABLE MEDAL
This is a large (3" diameter) copy of a non-portable or table medal. It is a good example of high quality sand casting of fair quality investment (lost wax) casting. The center section of the sword has been sanded. Details to note: lack of sharp definition, small pock marks (usually from tiny air bubbles caught in the pouring process) and tiny raised bumps from tiny dimples in the sand or plaster mold.
