FAKE PARTISAN WARFARE BADGE IN SILVER
Bought in 1999 from a dealer in Port St. Lucie, Florida, for cash at a Georgia Show. The 2 dealers from Port St. Lucie were sharing resources and each now say theother was the one that owned the badge!! They had a gold and silver at this time, and a silver was available on the internet at the same time. This badge has very similar characteristics to several other badges,particularly Luftwaffe pilot-observer and pilot badges I saw at the same time. Photos are high quality. The fake is just barely smaller and lighter than known originals of the same type. Details vary and there is a subtle difference in sharpness. Pin steel. Fake weight 31,43 grams, height 58,56mm, width 48,70mm.
