SHIPPING
We usually ship priority mail in the US. Please contact Fedex, UPS, the Post Office (USPS) for rates and services available. Handling/shipping charges may vary depending on insurance, type item, packaging costs, shipping method required and destination. On receipt of order we will email an invoice giving exact shipping charges.
Shipping charges include insurance. We assume no liability for loss or damage to goods once we ship the item/items. On overseas shipments, insurance can be for no more than the declared customs value. The best insurance for overseas orders is to ship smaller items by registered mail. Registered mail usually takes about 6 weeks to arrive because the parcel must be signed for every time it changes hands.
Firearms can only be shipped to federally licensed collectors or dealers. If you are not licensed, you must make arrangements for a dealer in your area to receive the firearm for you. Most gun shops will receive guns for you for a fee (usually about $25). We have contacts with exporters for overseas shipments. Shippers require that handguns must go by second day air.
We have a Class III Firearms license for sale of full-automatic arms, silencers, etc., and will receive them for Georgia residents for $150.00 per item.
RETURNS
YOU MAY RETURN ANY ITEM FOR ANY REASON WITHIN 30 DAYS OF RECEIPT FOR REFUND OF THE PRICE OF THE ITEM!. Only requirement is that the item be in the same condition as it left us. All it costs you is shipping and handling both ways. First, my position is that my business is based on repeat customers, so I absolutely do not try to deceive or trick. Second, it costs us about 15 to 30 minutes to prepare an order for shipment and that is lost time/money for us---inefficient.
IF FOR SOME REASON YOU REQUIRE MORE THAN 30 DAYS INSPECTION, please request it with the order.
Damage in transit is payable by the carrier (that's why we always insure for full value), not us---we'll help with claims if we can. Please feel free to call 706-342-7993 if you have further questions.
All used firearms sold "as is" with no warranty or guarantee they are safe to fire. If you intend to shoot it, have it checked by a competent gunsmith. Parts on old guns do break from metal fatigue, etc., without warning.

AUTHENTICITY POLICY
YOU SHOULD GET WHAT YOU EXPECT.: If you want an original item, you should be able to order it without fear of having a fraudulent item (something that is not what it is said to be) sold to you either because of criminal intent or ignorance. My business is based on repeat customers. I research and inspect everything and if something is a reproduction I will label it clearly as such. I do not play games and try to trick my customers. You know what you want, my job is to supply the pertinent information so you can make an informed decision to purchase.
I have spent (and still am spending) a great deal of time (over 50 years) and money learning my trade. We have thousands of dollars invested in research materials plus all currently available analysis equipment (microscope, etc.). I do my utmost to make sure that you, the buyer, can focus on type and condition. That means I filter out as much fraudulent material as I can, and if something is sold that is not what it is purported to be, I will give you your money back.
Legally speaking, if I sell you a "WW2 type medal", that means it was made later and is a copy. If I sell you a "WW2 Medal", that means it was made during the time period indicated. I will indicate clearly what the item is, and it will be priced accordingly. The prime area of criminal activity is selling items made as reproductions or copies that regularly sell for a fraction of what originals sell for as original, and the most common subterfuge criminals use to cover themselves from prosecution is "I don't know" (translates as "I am ignorant and too lazy to find out" or "the item is a fraud"). No one in this business stays ignorant for long, whether they want to or not.
To complicate matters, medals may be officially awarded pieces, contemporary commercial copies sold as replacement or 'second pieces' for everyday wear, post award period replacement pieces sold to the original award recipient, collector or souvenir copies or fakes/frauds. While collector or souvenir copies should be required to be marked "copy" or the like, no effort is made to make them absolutely perfect so that they will pass for original. Many of the current collector copies are so good that it is possible to be fooled by them, particularly if aged. Items made solely to misrepresent themselves as original, much higher priced items and sold as such are fakes and the crime is called fraud.
For example, a jeweler's copy of a Pour le Merite made in 1930 sold as a post-period copy might legitimately be sold as such for $500 to $2,500. The same copies made today sell as such for $20 to $500 depending on quality. If the seller represents either as original award pieces, even if the price is not inflated, he has committed fraud!
Condition rating is subjective and, unless something is brand spanking new, will probably vary slightly depending on the rater. Currently reliance is placed heavily on photos, but this, too, can be misleading. My ratings will usually focus on negative points and the items may not seem very appealing.
PAYMENT
Payment prior to shipment in U.S. dollars. We take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, U.S. money orders or checks. Allow 21 days for checks/money orders to clear before order is processed. Bank transfers are possible.
Layaway is available: 25% payment is required with the order. Order must total $100.00 or more. On orders totaling $100 to $300, pay-off due withing 30 days; on orders over $300.00 payment of 25% with the order and at least 25% payment every 30 days. Pay off in 90 days with no interest charges. With prior arrangement longer payment periods are available with 1 1/2% interest on the unpaid balance.
Layaway payments are non-refundable.
A new layaway can be initiated when the existing one is completed.
No Paypal!! They are antigun and in an effort to force their moral values on the world have frozen funds on us several times because they will not process firearms transactions! It is a real mess to sort out.
